Hi everyone, and welcome to our 7th season! I want to thank everyone for playing again this year and let you know that last year was our most successful year for participation. It was mostly due to the rule changes and having a weekly winner that allowed 11 different people to win money! The rules will be the same this year with one slight modification.
You can now pick (and switch) games up until the minute they kickoff! Even later in the season when game times change, the system will allow you to do so.
Now on to some fun stuff. The system has received a major upgrade this year. How so? Well, thanks for asking.
User Profiles - Now you can see who everyone else is. Photos, favorite teams, etc. This is also integrated into other parts of the system.
Pick Matrix - Visuals were updated and now the matrix automatically sorts out the list by most right. Yes, I was tired of seeing my craptstic scores on the top line too. The leader(s) for that week will also be highlighted in yellow.
Record Book - Huh? Yup. Now you can view every single week and its results as well as who holds the all time, season and weekly records. See a record that I missed, let me know and I will (try to) add it.
Personal Pick Analysis - You can now see how often you pick a team, how well you pick that team, and how you stack up against everyone else. Completely useless fun but definitely check it out!
Badges - There is a new achievement based system you earn while playing the Walker Pool. They have no effect on the outcome of the pool, but are a separate item that can be earned as you play. The first person to unlock every badge will win $500!
Finances - It is $20 per person to play with weekly winners and a grand prize at the end. Exact splits will be determined after we confirm the number of players, but as always 100% of the money is won back by players.
